The Rays look to bounce back tonight after dropping the series against the White Sox when they send Andy Sonnanstine to the mound to face off with Jarrod Washburn.

What To Watch For:
The road trip could not have came at a better time. The Rays need to get away from all of the festivities at home, and focus on playing ball. Even though they have started the season 5-8, it is still early and there is still plenty of time to bounce back.

B.J. Upton was pulled from Sunday’s game with a strained right quadriceps. While its never good to see B.J. hurt, Maddon is optimistic that he will be back in the line-up tonight.

Also it will be interesting to see if Maddon opts to play Ben Zobrist tonight who is on a tear at the plate. Big Ben has three homeruns and nine RBIs in his last six games he has played in.

X-Factor:
I’m going to stick with the bare basics today. The offense needs to get hits and the pitchers need to hit spots. The fundamentals are what helped the Rays become successful last season. Hopefully they will go back to that and we can see the team we all know and love.
