First off we would like to apologize for not having a post game last night. You have to understand nothing bothers us more than watching a game be blown like the one last night. Anyone else want to join the dumping Troy Percival bandwagon with us? But enough with the bitterness, here is the pre-game. Tonight’s game features Jeff Niemann (0-1) VS. John Danks (0-0).
What To Watch For:
Ok maybe im not sick of being bitter, so can we get a damn closer to keep us in games? I mean something has to give. I understand Percy and Maddon go back to their days with the Angels, but we need to establish someone as that definite guy to go to in the end of games. So lets see which members of the bullpen are put out there today.
Carlos Pena keeps going strong after adding another homerun in last night’s game. If the Rays can string some hits together in front of C-Pain then they won’t be solo shots.
If Niemann can pitch like he did at Baltimore except for the first inning, he should be in good shape. He needs to be cofinidint when he steps on the mound and leave the jitters in the clubhouse.
Stealing. There is nothing I hate more than an egotistical catcher that sucks. For example: A.J Pierzynski. I don’t think it will be an issue that Danks is a left hander for us to snag bases off of A.J.
